To date, the Rocky Worlds DDT program has selected 2 targets to perform observations: GJ 3929 b and LTT 1445 A c. JWST observations are expected to be performed to obtain secondary eclipse measurements with 15 μm photometry, while HST/UV observations are expected to be obtained to form a panchromatic spectrum of the host stars, as well as to monitor possible stellar flares.
Future possible targets, expected to be selected no later than September 2025, will be drawn from the Targets Under Consideration (TUC), a list that compiles possible targets that are relevant to the DDT program. This TUC list has been curated thanks to contributions from the community, the
Core Implementation Team (CIT) at STScI and the Rocky World’s DDT
Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC). These very same contributions will be used to define the next set of targets to be observed by the DDT.
